Autumn is now upon us, as is the second wave of the pandemic, and I know this will be a very difficult period for many, just as the whole year has been. So I hope you’re all continuing to keep safe and well as best you can.
For my part I’m still doing fine thus far, and still keeping myself occupied. I’ve been getting out and about more, and have continued to enjoy various forms of entertainment at home. So here’s my latest post and video roundup, in which nothing is sponsored or gifted as usual. I hope you enjoy!

Right then, time for another monthly update. There isn’t a huge amount to mention for October compared to some months, but there are still some bits and pieces I want to share with you, focusing on disability, health, technology and entertainment. So I’m sorry if this seems a bit shorter than usual and doesn’t contain much about London. But rest assured my November Favourites is going to be much more extensive, as things are getting back to normal and there’s a lot happening right now.
So for me this post and video is a nice way of easing myself back into things. And as always I’m not sponsored or endorsed by anybody mentioned here, these are all my own opinions. So I hope you enjoy!

Time for another monthly update, and it’s fair to say that September was very busy and productive, as well as throwing up one or two surprises, which in turn are paving the way for a very interesting October. There is of course a video to go with this post, and I hope you enjoy this little catch-up as usual!

It’s now time to do my August Favourites post and video, to bring myself up to date, before I get into an eventful September. August was again busy on the social media front, and there was important stuff going on at home too. But I also had time to go out and do a nice variety of things as well. So it was another productive and enjoyable month, and I hope you enjoy reading about it.

Well, what a way to start a new month, with snow all over the place! Winter has seemed very reluctant to let Spring take over, but hopefully things will warm up in the coming weeks now.
And the cold weather didn’t stopped February from being an eventful month. Following on from my January 2018 Favourites, it’s now time to look through what I’ve been enjoying in February. And even though it’s the shortest month, I seem to have packed quite a bit in! So I hope you enjoy this post and video for February.

For the final part of my nostalgic look back at my favourite computer games (following on from Part 1 and Part 2), I’m now going to look at games I enjoyed on the first 2 PlayStation consoles. I spent many happy hours playing on these, meaning there’s quite a few games to mention. So in this post I’m going to mention a few of my favourite platform and adventure games.

Continuing on from my previous post, here are some more of my favourite computer games that I enjoyed in my youth, many years ago. I will be getting on to PlayStation games in the next part, but before then, I want to talk about a few games I enjoyed on Microsoft Windows, plus a console my best friend had (and still has now), and one or two other things too.

One of the programmes I’m enjoying on TV at the moment is Dara Ó Briain’s Go 8 Bit, a comedy game show where celebrities compete against each other on a variety of video games, both old and new. It’s great fun, and it’s got me thinking about some of the games I used to enjoy playing when I was younger. So I thought I’d spend a few posts writing about them, to happily wallow in nostalgia for a bit. Feel free to comment if you enjoyed any of the same games as me, or want to talk about any of the titles you loved, in case it reminds me of others that I’ve forgotten.

This is an idea I’ve seen elsewhere that I thought might be fun to do, so you can find out a bit more about me. A few of these facts you’ll know from elsewhere in my blog, but most I’ve never mentioned here before.
Since posting this, I’ve also made a video, which contains some of the same information as this post, but also some different facts as well, so do check it out:

November 2020 Notes:
Here’s the next bunch of posts from my old Bolt journal. I’ve combined 2 months together here, as my entries for both were fairly short while I was busy with university work. So here you’ll find out about my latest exam result, more DVDs and music that I was buying, and which of our sitcoms were voted the best by the British public. I hope you enjoy!
