Journal – January 2013 (Hereford Weekend)

After all the travelling to London over the previous couple of months, I’ve just been away again, but this time to Hereford with a friend. We went to see her partner – the same guy I went to see Jimmy Carr with last summer – as she didn’t want to travel up there alone. So I had a nice little weekend away, and I hope you enjoy reading about it!

Journal – Christmas 2012 (London Holiday)

Mum and I have just had our third trip up to London in quick succession. But whereas the previous 2 brief visits last year had been for my Nan’s funeral, and then a weekend to sort out a few bits and pieces, this latest trip was the chance for us to have a proper Christmas break, which we needed. It included a trip to the theatre to see The Lion King with a couple of my friends, along with various other outings. I’ve also included a few photos and a video that I captured on my mobile phone during the trip. So I hope you enjoy reading about it all!

Journal – December 2012 (London Weekend)

Following my Nan’s death, my mother and I have had another weekend trip to London this month. So that’s the main topic here, along with other little bits and pieces including initial thoughts about homeworking, a news story about a prank call made by a pair of Australian DJs, and a bit of humour sent to me by a friend. Journal – November 2012 (Nan’s Death)

Journal – March 2011

Welcome to another set of journal entries. This has been quite an eventful month, with Mum and I finishing off the legal stuff relating to my Dad’s passing, the devastating earthquake and tsunami in Japan that’s dominated the news, I’ve bought some more DVDs, and I saw Comic Relief on TV, among other things. And then at the end of the month I had a lovely long weekend break in Guernsey with a mate. So I hope you enjoy looking through it all.

Journal – February 2011

Things have settled down considerably this month, following Dad’s death at the start of the year. There have still been a few things for Mum and I to sort out of course, but nowhere near as much as in January, and we were able to get away for a break in London with our relatives. Journal – August 2010 (Portsmouth Holiday)

Welcome to another set of journal entires. There wasn’t anything to mention in the first half of this birthday month, but during the last couple of weeks I’ve had fun staying with a mate in Portsmouth as well as seeing some friends in Exeter, so there’s plenty to mention about all of that. Journal – April 2009 (Spain Holiday & Morocco Trip)

Hola de nuevo! (Hello again!) After our first trip to Spain in 2007, my friends and I were keen to go back. So this post is all about our return trip, including visits to a local park and Fuengirola Zoo, and a day trip to Tangier in Morocco. Journal – March-April 2009

Here’s a bumper batch of journal entries. In March I had a lot of fun with a few of my friends while taking an extended break in Exeter, plus I enjoyed Comic Relief on TV, and there were various things I bought and watched as usual.
