I enjoy doing Q&A tag posts, whether they’re disability related or on other topics, as they’re a nice way to connect with other bloggers so we can get to know each other better, and it’s also lovely to be invited to participate in them.
And this time around, appropriately for summer, I’ve been very kindly nominated for the Sunshine Blogger Award. This award is given by bloggers to other bloggers, to recognise and celebrate the creativity, positivity and inspiration in their work.
So to be nominated just once by anybody is a great honour. But over the last few weeks I’ve been nominated THREE times, which is extremely flattering! So thank you very much indeed to Holly (Life of a Blind Girl), Luke Sam Sowden & Carol (The Invisible Vision Project), it’s very generous of you all to nominate me! They’ve all asked completely different questions too, which is wonderful. So I hope you enjoy reading my answers to them all.

This is the last in my triple bill of tag response posts to finish off the year. And this is the Colours Of The Rainbow tag by Luke Sam Sowden, which asks for the meanings that you associate with various colours – red, yellow, pink, green, orange, purple, blue, black, white and brown. So I thought it would be something different and fun to do, and I tag anyone else who wants to respond to it as well. I hope you enjoy my answers! Continue reading “The Colours Of The Rainbow Tag”
MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! 🙂
I hope everyone’s having a wonderful time, with all the fun and food and festivities that Christmas brings!
If you’re working to keep services and utilities running, or you’re volunteering to help out those less fortunate e.g. the disabled, elderly, homeless, etc, then thank you so much for your efforts and commitment, as you don’t get as much gratitude as you deserve for it.
And if you’re not having a nice Christmas for whatever reason, then you have my sympathies, and I hope you’re able to find some support or company to help get you through the day. There are lots of options if you need someone to talk to.
For me, this Christmas is hugely significant, as it’s my first proper one as a resident of London. So I wanted to mark it with a special Christmas Q&A , all about how I celebrate and enjoy Christmas. I’ve also made a video to go with it. Everyone reading this is welcome to answer the questions as well, I tag everyone who wants to do it. So I hope you enjoy reading my festive posts, and finding out about how I celebrate Christmas!

A topic I’ve never touched on before in this blog is beauty and fashion. Lots of other bloggers do it, and very well too, but it’s been very much absent from this blog. So this post marks another step into unchartered territory for me – a Lush haul, from their huge store in Oxford Street.
Going into a Lush store last weekend was a completely new experience for me, and I came out with quite a lot. So I thought I’d share the details of my visit in this post, and how I was introduced to Lush, along with a video showing the products I bought in detail. So I hope you enjoy.
Please note that I am not affiliated with or sponsored by Lush, and I have not been asked to do this by anybody connected with the company. All products were purchased with my own money, and all opinions expressed are my own.

If you don’t know what that title means, it’s because of the date – May the 4th be with you. 🙂
There are a few things I wanted to mention in this post. Firstly, I wanted to note that I’ve been writing this blog for a few months now, and therefore take the opportunity to say thank you to those who have been reading, commenting, liking and following this collection of randomness so far. It’s my first foray into blogging, and I’m not trying to do anything fancy or change the world with it. I mainly just felt inspired to share some of my experiences, thoughts, favourite things, etc, having enjoyed the blogs and Youtube videos of various others. If it interests and entertains people, then that’s awesome. I have been jotting down ideas for various posts I could do here, meaning there’s potential for me to keep wittering on for some time yet!
I’ve also been very flattered to get a mention in two other blogs in the space of a week recently – Life of a Blind Girl and Luke Sam Sowden. Thank you so much to Holly and Luke for including me in their lists of recommended bloggers, that’s really very kind of you! 🙂

There’s a new Visually Impaired Persons Tag doing the rounds at the moment, initiated by My Blurred World and Life of a Blind Girl, and Fashioneyesta has also responded to it at the time of writing. They’re all superb posts by superb bloggers, so they’re worth checking out. Although I’ve not been tagged myself, I’m going to jump on the bandwagon and join in anyway, as I do think they’re great questions. So hopefully nobody will mind. 🙂
