Journal – May 2010

Welcome back to my journal, and this has been a really busy month, including socialising, a barn dance, Nintendo Wii bowling, the General Election, Doctor Who, DVDs, Eurovision and even a volcano! So I hope you enjoy.

Journal – January-April 2010

There’s been a bit of a gap since my last set of journal entries, but that’s because this year’s got off to a very quiet start, so I’ve only written a couple of entries in this first quarter. There are still a few notable things to mention though, including work and family updates, meeting up with a friend, the Haiti earthquake, and David Tennant’s handover to Matt Smith in Doctor Who. Plus I’ve been emailed a couple of jokes from friends of mine, so I thought I’d include them for a bit of variety. I hope you enjoy!

Journal – October-December 2009

Time to finish off another year with a brief bit of socialising, a new mobile phone, more DVDs, Doctor Who, a mixture of news stories, and of course Christmas. I hope you enjoy!

Journal – June-July 2009

Time for another couple of long journal entries. Again there’s just one per month, but there’s been plenty to write about, as I’ve had a good time socialising and going to a summer ball, and a few news stories have caught my eye as usual too. So I hope you enjoy!

Journal – May 2009

Just a single entry this month, but it’s a long one, as I’ve been very busy at work, my Dad’s got a new Blu-ray player, I’ve bought several DVDs, and there’s much to discuss about the Parliamentary expenses scandal and the Eurovision Song Content. So I hope you enjoy!

Journal – April 2009 (Spain Holiday & Morocco Trip)

Hola de nuevo! (Hello again!) After our first trip to Spain in 2007, my friends and I were keen to go back. So this post is all about our return trip, including visits to a local park and Fuengirola Zoo, and a day trip to Tangier in Morocco. I’ve also included some photos that I took on a disposable camera, and video footage shot on my friend’s digital camcorder. I hope you enjoy!

Journal – March-April 2009

Here’s a bumper batch of journal entries. In March I had a lot of fun with a few of my friends while taking an extended break in Exeter, plus I enjoyed Comic Relief on TV, and there were various things I bought and watched as usual. But I’ve also included my first entry from April as well, because next time I’ll be doing a special post about my holiday to Spain. So there’s a lot to get through here, I hope you enjoy it!

Journal – January-February 2009

So another year gets underway. These first couple of months have been fairly quiet, as is common after Christmas. But I did a bit more socialising and ate some lovely food in Exeter, and saw various comedies on TV. Plus there have been a few big stories in the news, including Obama’s inauguration and two very different plane landings. So I hope you enjoy!

Journal – December 2008

Welcome to the end of another year with this latest instalment of journal entries. This month began with a trip to Bristol, as a visually impaired friend of mine was visiting the city for a training course, and his employer had offered to pay for someone to go along and help him out. So he kindly invited me. It was a nice little trip away, and we were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation we were given, which I’ve included a few photos of. Then after that there’s Christmas of course. So I hope you enjoy!
