Journal – January 2007

Here we go with another year of my journal entries. These early weeks have been mainly focused on arranging trips away in the UK and abroad in the months ahead. But I also met up with some friends in Exeter, we had a bit more work done on the house, and there are other bits and pieces like TV shows, news stories, etc that I’ve decided to mention as always. So I hope you enjoy!

This is one of my longest journal updates for a while. This month has been particularly busy, because I’ve had a holiday in Bournemouth with some friends, my Dad’s had an eye operation, I ordered a new TV, and we had a complicated job to do at work. Plus there are mentions of DVDs, news stories and other bits and pieces as usual. So I hope you enjoy!

Time for another batch of entries from my journal. It’s been a fairly quiet summer month, but I did spend a nice weekend with a friend, acquired a new CCTV to help me read things at work, bought some more DVDs and celebrated my birthday, plus there are various news stories that caught my attention. Welcome to another bumper set of entries from my journal. This has been a very busy month, as I’ve had 3 trips away – attending a Mac training course in Manchester, staying with a friend in Exeter to play at a quiz night, and spending a week in Bournemouth with a couple of mates. And at home I’ve continued to make good use of our new broadband connection, while the new series of Doctor Who was starting on TV. So there’s a lot to mention this time, and I hope you enjoy it!

Here’s another month of entries from my journal. This time I’ve had a lot of fun visiting my best mate to celebrate his 21st birthday, plus I’ve been assessed for support I might be able to get for work because of my visual impairment. There have also been lots of DVDs coming out in the run up to Christmas that I’ve been keen to get, and we’ve had Children In Need and other delights on TV. So there’s a variety of things here as usual, and I hope you enjoy!

This has been a very busy month. At the end of May I was invited to spend a week with a couple of friends of mine in Exeter, while I was taking a bit of well-earned holiday from work. So that’s where we start off here, and there’s lots to mention about the various ways we enjoyed ourselves. Then there’s the usual mix of job updates, entertainment and other bits and bobs as well. Welcome to another instalment of posts from my journal. This month has basically been spent looking for work, getting hooked on a new PlayStation 2 game, and buying more DVDs and CDs. So it’s nowhere near as eventful as the previous month, but I hope you enjoy!

Welcome to my next instalment of journal posts. Unusually for summer, I’ve had rather a lot to write about this month, as I got my full list of university results while I was continuing my search for work, Dad fell ill and had to go to hospital, we had some work done on the house, the Athens Olympics took place, I celebrated my birthday, and I continued to enjoy more new music and DVD purchases. So this is probably my longest journal post so far, and I hope you enjoy it!

This latest batch of posts from my journal marks a significant moment in my life, as I’ve now graduated from university and have started looking for work.
