It’s Thursday Throwback time yet again, with another selection of posts from my old Bolt journal. After 3 busy years, this was my last month of exams for my Accounting & Finance course at university. Euro 2004 was also getting everyone excited, and I found another top 100 list that I wanted to share. So I hope you enjoy going through this latest set of entries!
Note: Each time I publish a new post from my archive, the previous post is backdated to the year it was originally written, so my blog remains tidy and chronological. You can see all the archive posts together by visiting the Journal Archive category.

November 2020 Notes:
Welcome to the latest selection of my old Bolt journal posts. I’ve combined a couple of months together again, as I didn’t have huge amounts to write for each, while I was busy revising for exams and preparing for my graduation. But I was also continuing to buy DVDs and music of course, and there were a couple more music polls I found as well. So I hope you find these entries interesting as usual!

November 2020 Notes:
Here’s the next bunch of posts from my old Bolt journal. I’ve combined 2 months together here, as my entries for both were fairly short while I was busy with university work. So here you’ll find out about my latest exam result, more DVDs and music that I was buying, and which of our sitcoms were voted the best by the British public. I hope you enjoy!

October 2020 Notes:
We’ve made it to another year in my Throwback Thursday series of journal posts from the old Bolt social media site. And 2004 was a particularly significant one for me, with the conclusion of my university studies and my subsequent search for a job. But that’s all still to come, as we need to get through the first half of the year before we reach that new chapter in my life.
This month I stayed with a friend at Bournemouth University for a few days, continued my own studies at Exeter University including another exam, got addicted to another video game, and bought a few more DVDs. Plus there’s another top 100 list, for which I take no responsibility if you willingly explore the links and come away with any unwanted earworms. So let’s crack on with it, and I hope you enjoy!

October 2020 Notes:
We’ve made it to the end of my second year of Bolt journal entries. I figured I may as well combine the last 2 months of the year, as I didn’t write a lot for November. As usual I talk about university, the latest DVDs I’ve been buying and the TV I’ve been enjoying. Plus there’s another top 100 list and a few of the stranger news stories that caught my attention, and of course there’s Christmas and a brief review of the year. So I hope you enjoy!

September 2020 Notes:
Here we go again, with another bundle of journal posts I had on the old Bolt site. My time was mainly spent revising for my upcoming exams, but I found time to write about other things too, including an IQ test on TV, the most recent Bond film, a list of the worst Britons, and that infamous Eurovision performance that earned the UK “nul points”. So I hope you enjoy reliving some more of the past with me!

August 2020 Notes:
Here are some more extracts from my old Bolt journal. You know what to expect by now – university work, socialising, CDs, DVDs, gaming, TV, etc. This wasn’t a very eventful month, but I did share a couple of interesting top 100 lists, and my favourite moments from Children In Need, among other little bits and pieces. So I hope you enjoy!

July 2020 Notes:
Welcome to another set of entries from my old journal on the former social media site Bolt. This month I went to see an ABBA tribute show and attended a wedding reception, as well as having to do revision for university, so I was quite busy.
The posts are starting to get a bit longer now, as there’s more to mention and I was getting more comfortable writing online at the time. And I’ve anonymised my friend’s names, using initials only to respect their privacy.
So let’s get on with it, and I hope you enjoy!
