Journal – December 2008

Welcome to the end of another year with this latest instalment of journal entries. This month began with a trip to Bristol, as a visually impaired friend of mine was visiting the city for a training course, and his employer had offered to pay for someone to go along and help him out. So he kindly invited me. It was a nice little trip away, and we were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation we were given, which I’ve included a few photos of. Then after that there’s Christmas of course. So I hope you enjoy!

Time for another batch of my journal entries. I went out and about to do some more socialising and shopping this month, and we had a few technical issues at work. Plus I’ve mentioned things like DVDs and news stories as usual. So I hope you enjoy!

Journal – June-July 2007

Following the excitement of my Spanish holiday, it’s back to regular life again for this next set of journal entries. I’ve combined 2 months together here, as I didn’t write a huge amount for either of them. But in amongst it all I did go out for a little social with my colleagues, bought some more DVDs, enjoyed the latest Doctor Who series finale, and I’ve talked about various news stories that have caught my eye. Here we go with another batch of journal entries. During these weeks I had a nice little break in Bournemouth, and a couple of trips to Exeter to meet the friends I’m preparing to go to Spain with. And with that upcoming trip in mind, I’ve also included the first entry from May, so that my next post can be dedicated exclusively to my overseas adventure. So I hope you enjoy!

This is one of my longest journal updates for a while. This month has been particularly busy, because I’ve had a holiday in Bournemouth with some friends, my Dad’s had an eye operation, I ordered a new TV, and we had a complicated job to do at work. Welcome to another bumper set of entries from my journal. This has been a very busy month, as I’ve had 3 trips away – attending a Mac training course in Manchester, staying with a friend in Exeter to play at a quiz night, and spending a week in Bournemouth with a couple of mates. And at home I’ve continued to make good use of our new broadband connection, while the new series of Doctor Who was starting on TV. So there’s a lot to mention this time, and I hope you enjoy it!
