This page contains a list of museums, galleries and historic buildings I’ve visited in London and the UK. Click the names of the exhibitions or tours to see my reviews and mentions.
In many cases I’ve enjoyed audio described tours, handling sessions and workshops, which help me to understand and enjoy exhibitions in a more accessible way given my limited eyesight. VocalEyes often assist with or promote these events, and you can see their What’s On page for details of upcoming tours. Many museums also have access information on their own websites as well.
When audio description isn’t available, I use large print guides if available, along with my monocular (a small telescope) and my iPhone to look at things more closely.
