Enigma Machine

Close-up of the Enigma keyboard. It uses the German QWERTZ layout which, compared to the QWERTY keyboard we're used to, swaps the Z and Y keys around, then moves the P and L keys to the far left and right of the bottom row. The same layout of letters is replicated in circular lights embedded above the keyboard. Whenever a key is pressed, a different letter is lit up above. It's never the same as the letter that's been pressed, and pressing the same key multiple times causes a different letter to light up every time.
