Time for another catch-up on what I’ve been doing lately, and with this past week including Halloween, it was only fitting that I did a couple more things to celebrate the occasion, following on from the Ghost Bus Tour I did the previous week But I’ve also been to a couple of other things too that aren’t related to it. All in all, I’ve been entertained at a museum, the cinema and the theatre, and tried another dining experience that’s new to me. So I’ve had a nice bit of variety, and I hope you enjoy reading about it.
This past week has been a very busy one, as I’ve been to an audio described exhibition, an audio described theatre show, a football field for a Youtube project, a new social group, a craft show and a chocolate show. So Iin this post I want to summarise it all and bring my activities up to date.
Last night I had my first ever vegetarian meal at the Redemption Bar in Shoreditch. And I had the privilege of dining there in the company of the vivacious Emily Davison from Fashioneyesta, this being our third meeting together. And we had a lovely time.
Emily looked stunning as per usual, and you can see a detailed description and photos of her outfit and makeup in her blog post about the day.
Although the Open House VocalEyes tours I did last weekend were great fun, the highlight of the weekend came on Sunday evening, when I got to meet the exquisite Emily Davison from Fashioneyesta for the second time. If you missed it, our first meeting was at Knole Park on the August Bank Holiday Monday (which Emily vlogged as well).
This time, the plan was to have something to eat and then go on a Jack The Ripper walking tour. And we had a lovely time.
Summer’s here, the weather’s lovely and bright and hot, and so there’s no reason not to go out every weekend to see what the city has to offer. Especially when there are festivals and events on all the time too, there’s always something happening every week. A case in point is a weekend I spent at Alexandra Palace last month, where they had a couple of things going on. I’ll write more about it below, and link to all the videos I created, but here’s the Palace’s own video of highlights:
It’s been a couple of months since I last made a post here. So now that Spring is upon us and the weather is improving, I thought I’d do a bit of a catch-up to let you know how things are going, as I have been busy lately. So this is going to be a long mixture of all sorts of things.
I hadn’t heard of the Liebster Award before I started blogging, but it seems to be a fun way of promoting other bloggers. The basic idea is that you answer the questions you’ve been asked, then nominate a few other bloggers and give them some questions to answer. And I’ve been very kindly nominated by The Invisible Vision Project – thank you so much! 🙂 They’ve also nominated Nataemily and Blind Moving On, whose blogs I also recommend checking out.
So here are my answers to the questions I’ve been asked, followed by my questions for the bloggers I nominate at the end.
