Hey there, thank you so much for stopping by! 🙂
My name is Glen, and I’m a visually impaired blogger and Youtuber based in London. I post about my life with sight loss, the importance of accessibility & assistive technology, my adventures and discoveries in London and beyond, the entertainment I enjoy, and more.
I have 2 eye conditions – Aniridia (which makes me overly sensitive to glare and bright sunlight) and Nystagmus (which gives me shaky eyes, making it hard to focus on things unless they’re close up or enlarged). I’ve had them since birth, so my vision seems normal to me, and they haven’t stopped me living a full and happy life.
I’m a university graduate, and I’ve been working as an IT developer in the printing sector for over 15 years. And in my spare time I enjoy socialising and meeting new people, arts & culture (theatre, concerts, museums, etc), outdoor walks, classic rock & pop music (60s-80s in particular), comedy, science fiction, and games & quizzes, all of which I regularly post about here.
So please enjoy looking around, there should be something for everyone. I hope you find my disability content educational, interesting and supportive. And I hope you find things that appeal to you within my adventures and entertainment tastes.
Please do follow me on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram as well, for all my latest updates. You’re also very welcome to send me respectful comments, questions and suggestions on this blog, my social media platforms or via email. I look forward to hearing from you! 🙂
